The Cabin at Whispering Wind sits on 2 private acres of woods, mountainside, and streams in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Canton, NC. 🌲 THE LAND This is a true mountain property. Your 2 acres are mostly forested mountainside with a few streams winding through. 🦌 Deer, owls, and squirrels are frequent visitors 🐻 Bears are rare but present. Please do not leave food outside and never, ever approach or feed them 🙅 No food left unattended outdoors. 🏘️ CANTON, NC Our cabin is located in Canton, NC. It's a small town with a lot of history. It's quaint downtown is located 5 miles from our cabin and has our favorite neighborhood brewery, BearWaters Brewing Company, Papertown Coffee shop, vintage shopping and more.

Guest Access

You will have access to the entire home. You will be able to check in using a code on the front door which we hope provides ease and flexibility for all! There is NO shared indoor or outdoor space. Guest will have access to the entire property.

One suite includes a dedicated workspace; the other a cozy reading nook. Main Floor: 1 King bedroom and 1 room with a single over full bunk bed with single trundle. They have easy access to the main full bath (tub/shower combo). 🌲 OUTDOOR LIVING ♨️ Hot tub — soak under the stars after a day of hiking (25+ to operate) 🔥 Fire pit — roast marshmallows while watching the sunset 🍽️ Large deck — al fresco dining with crisp mountain air and sweeping Blue Ridge views ⛰️ THE MOUNTAIN DRIVE — Please Read To reach the cabin, you'll travel a newly graded gravel road with a sharp turn and steep elevation. AWD or 4WD is strictly required. We do not offer refunds for inability to access the property due to vehicle type. 🐶 Pets welcome — up to 2 well-behaved dogs ($50/pet) 📶 Reliable Wi-Fi via 5G hotspot; strong cell service for all major carriers 📷 Exterior cameras for guest security 🐞 Mountain living means the occasional ladybug or stink bug may say hello — we have regular pest control, but nature has its own schedule! ⛰️ THE DRIVE UP The gravel private road leading up to the cabin is newly done but does have a few sharp turns on the way up. This type of drive way is very common for cabins and homes in the area that are located high up! Once you get to the cabin, you'll agree the view is worth the drive. 🙂 As we cannot predict the weather or conditions, a 4WD vehicle is *REQUIRED* for the private drive. These are mountainous roads and you will not be refunded for trying to access the cabin with a 2WD vehicle. You will be chared for any damage to the driveway due to not having a proper vehicle. There is plenty of space to fit 4+ cars in the driveway!
